I am a child of the internet age, an aspiring writer, and most importantly a lover of vintage, literature, photography, travel, food, fashion, and music. I hope to share my adventures through word and photo with a verdant voice and an eye for intricacy.
1940to1949: A Dozen Beauties  Poses vary with the individual photog’s taste. The Acme cameraman evidentally is acquainted with the Servicemen’s desire in photos, for he gave them exactly what they wanted - legs. These dozen beauties, coming from various parts of the States, are members of the “United Nations Girls, Inc.,” an organization participating in drives for the Red Cross, the March of Dimes, and Bond Sales. They were given a trip from Washington, D.C., where they are all employed in government offices, to New York, a reward for meritorious war services.
